Harriman Software Wrap Debut Release
20 August 2002
Softwrap™, today announced that they have signed up Harriman Software, developers of conventional zip programs.
The partnership will enable Harriman Software’s customers to take advantage of trying their first product offering, H-ZIP, before going on to buy, whilst the product itself remains totally secure against piracy.
H-ZIP is designed with the user in mind; the programme goes beyond conventional zip programmes to handle a wider variety of archive types. Building upon the enhanced user interface of Windows XP, H-ZIP offers easy to use wizards to accomplish any task. Full support of compressed and uncompressed TAR files makes the program very
useful when creating archives to be used on Linux and UNIX.
Craig Sims, Vice President of Business Development, Softwrap, says of the announcement, “We are very excited to be Softwrapping Harriman Software’s first release and we look forward to working with additional programs that they produce in the future.”
Harriman Software are thrilled about the release of their first product and are confident that Softwrap’s try-before-you-buy mechanism will prove to be very successful in increasing sales. Softwrap will also assist in the company’s marketing and distribution activities with H-ZIP.
